11+ Beginner/Intermediate Tennis Lessons will run every Wednesday for 4 weeks, May 1st to May 22nd between the hours of 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

The OMTC follows the progressive tennis model where the size of the child determines the size of the equipment.
11+ YEAR-OLDS: RED/ORANGE/GREEN DOT BALL PROGRAM
For children 6 to 11 years old, we offer a full lesson program with a reduced court size including drills, games and low compression balls. Our goal is to develop new tennis skills by building new tennis techniques. OMTC encourages them to enjoy the game of tennis and feel comfortable to continue playing tennis with family and friends.

Progressive Tennis simply modifies the size of the court and equipment to acknowledge the size of the participants. We use mini nets and various large targets to start skill building with younger children. The program is for children to focus on building skills using the ½ court. The more advanced will progress to ¾ court. Novice players will focus on ¾ court with low compression balls. Youth are grouped according to age and skill level with a Tennis Canada certified coach for on court instruction.
